Forever. The question is more about the alloy composition. It's easy to commission a rod maker to build you some aluminum rods. You have to tell them how much hp, service life etc and they can spec the rods out for you. Keep in mind any form of aluminum rods have a relatively short service life. It's a good alternative if you plan to just race your car and rebuild often. It's not what I call suitable for 99.999 % of the people on this forum. That being said. More power to the guy that is willing to commit that level of resources :) Harry
